Become an LIT at The Center!
What is an LIT? An LIT is a Leader-in-Training, a 14 or 15 year old counselor who works in Barney Goodman Camp, Sports Camp or the Child Development Center Camp. An LIT must be a member of the Jewish Community Center OR part of a Jewish congregation. An LIT has many of the same responsibilities as a counselor, and also includes extensive training in working with children and being a good employee, LIT-planned camp activities, social get-togethers and the fun of getting to know a very special group of people!
Your work may count toward community service credits required by many synagogues and schools, as well as a stipend.
